The Harrison Pharmacy Conference was started in 1992 as a way for pharmacy practice leaders to meet, share ideas, and further improve their skills and
knowledge. Over two decades later, the conference still attracts dozens of attendees to the beautiful and quaint town of Harrison Hot Springs, BC.
Throughout the years, the Seminar has maintained its strong reputation for excellence through the provision of extraordinary education and networking
opportunities for Canadian hospital pharmacy leaders.
Our 2016 event marks the 25th anniversary for the CSHP Harrison Pharmacy Management Seminar (formerly the Harrison Pharmacy Conference). All
preparation, organization and final execution of the conference is the responsibility of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists; Together with a group
of expert volunteers who devote their time and expertise, everyone involved works hard to make each annual event a success.
The seminar begins with a half-day workshop on a broad topic which is of interest to managers and directors. The next day and a half is filled with
speakers on topics relevant to current practice, and open discussion lead by representatives of major pharmacy groups.
A special 'Dinner and Dance' is hosted in the hotel's 'Copper Room' on the last night of the conference. It is an excellent opportunity for all attendees to
meet, mingle, share and learn about practice throughout Canada.
